Meet Dr. Rod: An Alternative Healer and Spiritual Life Coach
Dear visitor, I am glad that you and I have connected on this page. Here is a little about me; I was born in Tehran, Iran, and came to the United States when I was 10 years old. My family and I went through extreme hardship during our migration, post the Iranian Revolution.
After a year of stay in Europe, we arrived in California. I quickly fell in love with my new home, started school with honors, and made sure to fit in with my peers. My educational excellence has always put me on the fast track in life.
However, my biggest lesson started when I was attacked by a group of thugs on my first day of public high school.
Following this very traumatic event, I decided to change schools and enrolled in a private Jewish school called Valley Torah High School. This is where my life turned around. It was here that I had the honor of learning about Judaism on a regular basis.
My interest predominantly was focused in the spiritual aspects of Jewish Mysticism, called Kabbalah. I had an amazing Rabbi who taught me about the nature of our universe and deep mystical secrets. As a result, I began my journey of inner transformation at a very young age.
After graduating from high school with top honors, I ended up at California State University, Northridge, where I chose to study Biology. I was inspired to become a physician and use my scientific knowledge to better serve humanity. I had this dream to become a healer from a very young age and thought that Medical School was the answer to that dream. However, towards the end of my studies, I took a Psychology course that taught Modern Western Psychology through Eastern Philosophy. I was amazed by my professor, Dr. Roger Moss, to whom I always extend my deepest gratitude for my biggest breakthrough in life. I loved learning about Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and so forth. It was a fresh opening for me, a new discovery. Therefore, I continued to study Psychology and did further Soul searching. Regardless of this new frontier, I followed my dream of becoming a doctor as well. This journey prepared me to become more of my authentic Self as it unfolded.
I had the pleasure of studying abroad at UAG Medical School, where I learned to speak Spanish. I lived in a very unique environment and worked in the poorest areas of the world. Guadalajara, Mexico, had become my new home. My life became very challenging to adapt and handle. Being in a long-distance relationship and the extreme pressures of keeping up with medical school led me into severe depression:
I found myself trapped in my own thoughts. I was hopeless, lacked self-worth, couldn’t sleep, lost a lot of weight, couldn’t concentrate, had low self-esteem, and couldn’t enjoy life. Experiencing this for the first time, I didn’t know how to handle my feelings. I battled through my emotional challenges and career until I finished Medical School.
This journey motivated me to do lots of personal development work on myself. I started reading spiritual books, listened to thousands of hours of motivational speakers, learned how to meditate, did positive affirmations, and completely changed my energy field from negative to positive. As I faced my new self, I became stronger to not give up. I was encouraged to become more disciplined, inspired, and find my TRUE ESSENCE.
Along this path, I had many beautiful souls who helped reshape me into discovering my true identity, which is a “spiritual being having a temporary human incarnation.” My life’s path further took me to New York in order to finish my Medical Internship Doctorate program at New York Medical College. Moreover, I successfully finished all of my medical board exams. Check out my Credentials. I changed my direction from continuing to completing a medical residency and chose to follow my passion. My dream of becoming a physician led me to my inner calling, destiny, and purpose in life: An intention to love, heal, inspire, and be abundantly wealthy for myself and others in order to raise the collective cosmic consciousness. I intend to heal and change the world for the better.
